How did the Second Car Killer exhibition model come to life?
This project was an absolute rollercoaster. It was easily the biggest (and most intense) making project I’ve ever done and probably will do for a long time. In just 18 days, it went from a bunch of CNC’d parts laid out on a table to sitting finished, ready for the exhibition.
Even before I had anything physical, it took a massive amount of time to understand the best way to present the Second Car Killer concept at an exhibition. Not long before these images were taken, I was close to approaching framebuilders to create a fully tubular frame, or even using a combination of 3D printed nodes and extruded sections.

Despite having to rope everyone I could in for the final few days, I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it came out.
