hidden reversing camera
Anyone that has owned or driven a van has likely realised how difficult it is to reverse into parking spaces without hitting the rear bumper. I’m not going to call myself a parking professional, but I had certainly never had any issues until owning my van.
I didn’t want anything like parking sensors ruining the smooth look of the rear, so a hidden reversing camera was the way forward.

With a 3D printed PETG mount that was modelled in Fusion360, printed, prepped and painted for a smooth finish, I could easily hide the camera module in the key barrel hole, blending in nicely with the gloss black trim around it.
The reversing camera allowed me to see a a very wide view of everything behind the van.

in my opinion, it even looks better than the boring silver key barrel.
